Ingredients
- 1 cup (227g) butter, melted
- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup (75g) cocoa powder
- 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk the melted butter and sugar together until combined.
- Whisk in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla extract.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt, and fold until just combined — don’t overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 28-32 minutes, until the top is set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing for the cleanest cuts.
